With more than 20 years of experience, I am an expert in designing Highly availalable, Secure and cost effective solutions for various customers including Tier 1 ISPs.
I have supported sales and post sales divisions with diverse roles, and successfully driven end-to-end transitions of solutions into production platforms. I am eager to contribute my Application, Networking and security expertise and technical acumen.
Experiences
As part of Akamai's Professional Services in the Media and Carrier division, I contribute to shaping and securing the internet. My role involves utilizing DNS, Proxy, APIs, web servers, and scripting languages like Perl and Python. I work with databases (PostgreSQL, Vertica, InfluxDB, MySQL), message bus systems (Kafka, Elasticsearch), and various monitoring tools to provide optimized solution to customers.
I have experience with on-premises and cloud infrastructure (Linode, AWS, Google Cloud, VMware, Docker), as well as several authentication systems (SSO, IAM, LDAP, SAML, Radius) used by application and platform.
I collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Support to integrate our components with customer infrastructure, especially with top-tier ISPs in the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.
I mentor my SA team to deliver cost-effective solutions by leveraging a diverse set of technologies.
I support proof-of-concept and design efforts for Akamai SIA (DNS Based Protection System) and Media (LCDN and LMS) products.
Overall responsibility of DNS Infrastructure of Bank having Migration from QIP to Bluecat Platform, Standardize the Infrastructure
Identify automation opportunity and procure/develop the tools. e.g. developed handover Portal for Criticial Infrastructure Team, Develop Dashboards using Elasticsearch. etc...
Solution and Design Engineering for IPAM, DNS, DHCP for customer Bank of America.
Handle Escalation from T2/3 team, RFP for other clients support the sales team for new prospective customer.
I was part of Network team responsible to design, Procure, Implement all AKAMAI equipment (Network/servers/WDM/Fiber) on vairous Third Party datacenters for my region (China and Amsterdam)
worked as SME for NetScaler and CDN infrastructure. AOL being a beta tester for Citrix I was responsible for Code Testing and Certification folllowed by Implemention of new firmware before it get rolled out into the market.
Started as Tier 1 Engineer, then promoted to T2 Engineer, to Implementation Engineer and then Tech lead (Sr. System Engineer or T3 escalation support)
